That's not true. Typical Manchurian looks quite different from Korean. Han Chinese and Korean look much alike. Even these two languages sound alike phonetically.

I'm a Manchurian Chinese and i think Korean and Manchurian looks similar to each other. I love Korean music and movies and I learn Hanja from them. But your grammar is totally not the same with Chinese. Korean and Manchu language follow the form like: I water drink. The Y DNA of my ancester Wanggian family is O2b, the same with Koguryeo, may be we are all the offspring of Buyeo people. Nice to meet you! :)
